We represent some of the world’s most innovative companies and are searching for a Marketing/Business Development Coordinator with one to two years of experience to join our team. Law firm experience is preferred, but not required. The Marketing/Business Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting and executing a variety of highly visible marketing/business development initiatives with a high level of attorney interaction. The Marketing/Business Development Coordinator is expected to perform all responsibilities with a commitment to providing superior service to the firm’s attorneys, staff and clients while maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Client development
- Assist with the preparation of deadline-driven marketing/business development presentations, reports, pitches and proposals in PowerPoint and Word including drafting, collecting, editing and organizing content and formatting documents.
- Assist in updating and maintaining our proposal generator platform.
- Lead experience management efforts by tracking and reporting representative matters for business development and marketing materials.
- Track and report proposal success rates.
- Assist with gathering data and intelligence on clients, prospects and industries to support targeted business development efforts. This involves working with our research team and other Banner Witcoff professionals.
- Prepare marketing materials as requested by attorneys and/or staff. Identify and determine appropriate materials for each request. Gather and revise, if necessary, existing documents to meet objectives. Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality materials.
- Assist with mailing list creation and maintenance.
- Brand and content marketing
- Assist as needed with Banner Witcoff-hosted and third-party events and memberships, including event execution, post-event follow-up and tracking lead generation.
- Assist the communications team with PR and media promotions, award and directory submissions.
- Assist in maintaining our firm website, mailing lists and contact management.
- Assist in internal communication initiatives.
- Assist in obtaining firm sponsorships for various events/programs.
- Perform other marketing and business development related responsibilities and projects as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to interact with vendors, staff and attorneys at all levels
- Self-starter, reliable and uses sound judgment
- Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines while remaining flexible
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong writing and editing skills and a high attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and service orientation
- Willing to work collaboratively as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- One to two years of related professional services marketing experience, preferably in a law firm
- Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential and ERM/CRM experience is a plus
Banner Witcoff offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, a 35-hour workweek, business-casual attire, and a friendly office environment. The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000 annually. This is a non-exempt position. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Washington, D.C. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographical location, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
