What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mower position at Bannock County?
This is a seasonal position not to exceed 6 months. This position may work up to 40 hours per week with no benefits provided.
Primary Function
Perform road side mowing for the Bannock County Road & Bridge Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (will vary by assignment)
- Off-site mowing on assigned Bannock County Roads.
- Assist the work crew when needed with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the necessary functions of this position.
- Experience operating a variety of farm implements machinery or roadside mowing equipment.
- General knowledge of Bannock County road system
- Knowledge of county procedures
- Ability to work after hours as needed
Acceptable Experience and Training
- High school diploma or GED equivalency; and
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Special Qualifications
- Idaho Driver's License is required.
