What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Pastry Chef position at Banque Chocolate?
Banque is looking for a seasoned pastry chef and chocolatier to lead our team in our state of the art production facility in Hudson, NY. Facility includes 4 tempering machines, panning machine, enrobing line, revent oven and proofer, rondo laminator, etc. We operate a retail boutique in Hudson, NY and will be launching our e-commerce boutique in the coming months. Banque is a chocolaterie, gelato, cocktail bar, and restaurant in Hudson, NY. We draw on the best elements of confectionary from around the world, while simultaneously using the abundance of local ingredients the surrounding Hudson Valley has to offer. We believe chocolate is as much a feast for the tastebuds as it is for the eyes; it’s an experience.
Description:
- Production of all Chocolate, Gelato, and pastry for our boutique and website sales
- Oversees bread baker
- Collaborate with owner for development of items for boutique and e-commerce
- Work diligently to produce the highest quality product with best shelf life
- Update inventory and reordering needs
- Maintain a well-organized production space with safety protocols and hygiene practices
- Maintain the highest standard of hygiene and organization

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
