Position Details
- Reporting to: Director of Admissions
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm; flexible availability is required (nights and weekends).
- Location: On-Site in Pompano Beach, FL
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Communication: Respond to inbound calls, chat inquiries, and emails from individuals seeking treatment.
- Clinical Pre-Screening: Conduct initial assessments to determine appropriate care options.
- Data Entry & Insurance Verification: Accurately document information, verify insurance coverage, and review private pay options.
- Active Listening & Support: Provide empathetic and informative guidance about the admissions process and available treatment programs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the admissions and clinical teams to streamline the intake process and ensure a smooth transition for new patients.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare, customer service, or admissions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems
- Empathy and professionalism when assisting individuals in crisis
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or insurance verification
- Knowledge of healthcare admissions processes
