As a Maintenance Technician at Banyan Living, you will be integral in ensuring that our communities are well-maintained and provide a safe, inviting environment for our residents. Your expertise in maintenance and repair tasks will guarantee that our properties remain in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems
- Conduct regular inspections of the property and respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents
- Assist in preparing units for new residents, ensuring they meet company standards
- Maintain the grounds and common areas of the property to provide an aesthetically pleasing environment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work, requests, and inventory of supplies
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform various manual tasks
- Availability for on-call duties and flexible scheduling as needed
