Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team as a Nursing Supervisor in Waelder, TX.
As a Nursing Supervisor, you will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department and will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive care to our patients.

Essential Functions:
- Manage day to day operations of nursing staff.
- Facilitate team interaction for discharge planning and patient care coordination.
- Collect and record comprehensive, accurate patient data.
- Assist in completing initial nursing assessments within 24 hours and evaluating therapeutic interventions.
- Ensure compliance with program policies, procedures, and nursing care standards.
- Order and manage medical supplies, replacing expired items as needed.
- Communicate pertinent information with the team and collaborates with medical staff for optimal patient care.
- Assist in formulating and reviewing patient care policies, procedures, and standards.
- Oversee nursing activities, including medication administration, lab specimen collection, and patient safety.
- Facilitate health education groups and patient orientation.
- Serve as a resource for staff and ensures effective communication with patients and healthcare providers.
Requirements:
- An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Nursing Diploma or Degree from an accredited school.
- 2 or more years of nursing experience in substance-use-disorder or mental health treatment.
Preferences:
- 2 years of experience in a management role.
- BSN.
Abilities and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of discipline-specific principles and practices.
- Adherence to Healthcare Code of Ethics and familiarity with Joint Commission Standards.
- Understanding of State & Federal regulations regarding Client Confidentiality.
- Competency in assessing mental health, trauma, and other relevant conditions.
- Experience in acute care, detox, and/or mental health settings.
- Excellent assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
- Exceptional observational skills and detail oriented.
- Empathetic and patient-centered approach.
