Position Overview
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee all aspects of project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, production, safety, quality control, field installations, and subcontractor management. This position ensures that all detailing, fabrication, and erection activities align with project schedules and comply with AISC standards.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following :
- Serve as the primary representative for project management in company-level discussions and departmental meetings
- Develop long-term strategic plans for the project management department, including 1-year, 5-year, and 10-year objectives
- Assign project awards to project management teams.
- Participate in project interviews and leveling meetings, providing follow-up communication to clients with key notes and action items
- Establish staff development initiatives and training programs to enhance team performance and growth.
- Lead the performance management process for project managers and project engineers, including conducting annual evaluations and providing ongoing feedback
- Support team in managing projects as needed during periods of increased workload or resource constraints
- Perform other duties as assigned
