About the Role: As a Radiologic Diagnostic Specialist at Baptist Health Care, you will play a vital part in ensuring proper radiologic diagnosis of patients. This involves performing imaging examinations, including CT scans, in multiple settings to contribute to the efficient operation of the department.
The position requires operating highly complex radiographic equipment within the radiology department, operating suites, and at the patient's bedside. You will select technical factors to ensure high-quality radiographs using advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology to obtain the maximum diagnostic image corresponding to body parts.
Your responsibilities will include quality controlling all images, maintaining inventory, adhering to safety regulations, and participating in training of department personnel, including students. Additionally, you will perform various clerical duties as needed.
