What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advance Practice RN Primary Care position at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville?
The Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) functions autonomously and collaborates with other health professionals to provide high quality, cost-effective care to patients, manage health care systems and influence health care decision-making through expert clinical reasoning, research, and theory-based practice. The APC is responsible for providing direct patient care as part of the physician-led team in accordance with State Law and approved Medical Staff privileges.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, Licensures / Certifications / Registrations Required :
- BSN required; MSN required
- Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner from an approved nurse practitioner program
- Eligible at all times to be insured for professional liability
- Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state
- Current unrestricted license to practice as an APRN in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- BLS Certification
