What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville?
Evaluates and develops an individual treatment plan for patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and communication disorders with follow-up for implementation of treatment as indicated. Evaluate and provides treatment for swallowing disorders with use of diagnostic tools as indicated.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
Masters of Science or Art in Speech Language Pathology. Recipient of the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. License from the Kentucky Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (Interim license to Active Kentucky State license 9–12-month completion). BLS/CPR certification required. Preferred experience: minimum 1-3 years of clinical experience; however will accept eligible CFY.
