- We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. This is a full-time evening position Monday through Thursday 2 : 00pm to 10 : 00pm and Friday 12 : 00pm to 8 : 00pm. located at Baptist Medical Center Heart Hospital Jacksonville, Fl Downtown.We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistant candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) assist RNs supporting in the care of patients. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Duties for this role include prepping patients for procedures, assisting with toileting, discharging via wheelchair, pushing stretchers, vital signs (weight) charting vitals and supporting COPS team.This position 40 hours a week. It is Monday - Thursday 2 : 00pm to 10 : 00pm and Friday 12 : 00pm to 8 : 00pm.Additional Responsibilities Include :
- Patient activities of daily living
- Passing out food trays
- Escorting for discharge
- Transporting to inpatient rooms
- Setting up rooms for next day
- Prepares patients procedures
- Ambulates post procedure
- Assists with discharging of patients
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients
- Collecting lab specimens
- Intake and output monitoring
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
