Job Details
29 bed telemetry unit, is the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) primarily serving as an observation unit.
Primary patient population is cardiac, medicine, and pre / post cardiac procedures. Patients are predominantly placed from ED, Cath Lab, and direct admission that meet CDU criteria.
1 year exp with PCU / Tele
EPIC exp REQUIRED
Job Requirements
1 year experience with PCU / Tele
BLS - Basic Life Support
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
State License 1 Verification
NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP)
NIH Stroke Certification
Unit Specific Information
Nurse to patient ratios 1 : 5
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Management of dysrhythmias
O2 protocol management
Non-invasive airway management
Management of drips
Peripheral line care / management
Central line care / management
Blood product administration
Isolation precaution / PPE
Computerized documentation
Rapid response team activation
Additional Details
