Part-time, Nights

Job Description:

• Responsible for the quality and efficiency of patient care services and oversees hospital operations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• Collaborates with the hospital risk manager to address risk and safety issues and ensure follow-up.

• Functions as a “superuser” for Information Systems (PIM, EPIC, Develop You, Maxsys , API Time & Attendance)

• Addresses issues, complaints, and concerns in keeping with promotion of a healing environment

• Serve as a clinical nurse expert as the individual spends majority of his/her time (>50%) coordinating, ensuring and supporting direct patient care activities on the unit through provision of nursing rounds, assessments and treatments

• Facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities

• Assures the provision of patient and family-centered education

• Care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Current RN license from Kentucky Board of Nursing

• 3 years’ experience as a RN

• ACLS/PALS required
