Job Description:
EMT-(Ambulance)-(PRN)
- Preforms ambulance transportation services & patient care within the scope of practice for EMT-B
- Thoroughly completes all required documentation for each patient encounter.
- Assists Paramedic with patient care as required.
- Provides care appropriate to the emergency population and maintains environment of care.
- Assists nursing staff in triage.
- Participates in continuing education classes.
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
High School Diploma or GED EMT-B or EMT certification through the Kentucky Board of EMS BLS (AHA required CPR certification)
