Patient Care Tech (PCT/HUC): Acute care, Telemetry unit
Unit Description:
3E is a 19-bed telemetry unit. As a member of our unit, you will be working with patients who require specialized care due to cardiac and neurological conditions. You will be responsible for providing expert nursing care, monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients utilizing a multidisciplinary approach.

Nursing Assistant (PCT/HUC):
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, the Patient Care Tech (PCT/HUC) provides direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures and routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education. ( Must provide a letter from school verifying completion of first year clinicals.)
- Basic Life Support (must be obtained within three months of hire)
