Nursing Assistant
Full-Time
Job Description:
- Performs direct patient care procedures and related tasks; assists in obtaining patient histories, takes vital signs and I &O and documents, prepares chart packs, and assists with medical procedures as delegated by nursing staff.
- Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for specific procedures and provide manual assistance as needed.
- Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system immediately to determine patients’ needs and assures needs are address in a timely manner. Accesses additional assistance as indicated to meet patient needs.
- Performs and documents appropriate procedures and data according to hospital policy and procedure.
- Performs hygienic care including bathing, shaving, oral, and hair
- Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system immediately to determine patients’ needs. Assures needs are met when beyond scope.
Requirements:
- High School/GED
- SRNA or successful completions of first year of Nursing program with validation of clinical rotation.
- Must obtain BLS within 6 months
