Job Summary
Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Rhythm Specialist to join their team in Riviera Beach, Florida.
This role involves observing and analyzing patient heartbeats and electrocardiograms (EKG) in intensive care units or ICUs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and be able to identify variances that indicate pacemaker malfunction.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and review patient information to determine baseline cardiac rhythm analysis
- Notify RN of cardiac rhythm variances that indicate pacemaker malfunction
- Examine heartbeat patterns, noting irregularities in patient files and reporting to the medical staff
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. A related training background through work experience and education is also required. Preferably, 1-2 years of previous job-related experience is preferred.
