About the Role
We are seeking a Hospital Monitor Technician to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
This is an ongoing opportunity requiring 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift. The successful candidate will work closely with a RN to perform duties related to the cardiac telemetry monitor and maintain equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital setting, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Observing monitors without distraction
- Accountable for monitoring the telemetry system and detecting cardiac arrhythmia
- Generating tracings on assigned patients
Qualifications
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent Monitor Tech Certification
- Preferred: College Degree
