About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in various areas of NMC.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide airway management procedures, including oxygen therapy, ventilator set up and maintenance, emergency procedures, and respiratory therapy treatment modalities.
- Perform arterial punctures and EKG procedures on patients in assigned areas.
- Document patient information according to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Report changes in patient status or diagnostic procedure results to physicians and/or appropriate hospital personnel.
