The Pharmacy Technician will be based at the Prattville office of Montgomery Cancer Center. The Technician is responsible for the preparation and compounding of infusion pharmaceutical products for distribution, which includes accurate dose calculations, assessing inventory of pharmacy products, and assisting the pharmacist as needed. Great schedule, day shift, Monday - Friday, no holidays.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
- Current registration with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy and CPhT certification required.
- Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency
- Ability to accurately type and perform assigned computer duties
- Proficient in needed pharmaceutical calculations, the metric system andwith pharmacy systems and related technology and equipment for practice setting.
