Patient Care Techs play a vital role in supporting both the clinical team and patients, offering personalized attention and assistance throughout their healthcare journey.Job Description : Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, the Patient Care Tech provides direct patient care and support, assisting with daily activities and routine procedures, including :
- Assisting patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and patient intake / output.
- Preparing patients for medical procedures and assisting healthcare providers.
- Responding promptly to patient calls and ensuring comfort and safety.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and equipment.
- Supporting patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Ensuring compliance with patient safety protocols and hospital policies.Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- No prior experience required; training provided.
- Current KY Nurse Aide Certification or completion of the first year of a nursing program with validated clinical rotation.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.Benefits :
