Job Description : RN, Registered NurseBaptist Health Floyd, Emergency DepartmentPart Time WOW Weekend Only, Days 9a-9pAbout the Unit : The Emergency Department (ED) has 41 beds divided between two pods with 37 private rooms. A split-flow area is located near main triage and provides care to lower acuity patients. Split flow varies from 5-8 patients and is run by 1-2 nurses and a mid-level provider. This fast-paced ED treats an average of 160 patients per day. ED staff encounter a wide variety of patients including acute cardiovascular and neurovascular emergencies, general medical emergencies, traumatic injuries and psychiatric patients. The ED is recognized by the American Heart Association as both a STEMI receiving center and a designated Primary Stroke Center. New Graduate RNs are welcome.Qualifications :
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- PALS required within 12 months of hire
- ACLS required within 12 months of hire
