Job description
Definition: The Independent Living Resident Assistant would be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. Must be respectful and compassionate with strong ethics. Must be willing to follow the Mission and Vision of Baptist Homes and Healthcare Ministries (see thebaptisthome.org). Be a self-starter. Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to client’s request. Must understand infection control principles.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a retired individual or someone just looking for a few hours a week (usually 24 hours/week)

Qualifications:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Basic skills in cooking, housekeeping, and laundry.
- Ability to exercise good judgement.
- High ethical standards.

Job Type: Part-time

- Rotating weekends
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
