Summary/Objective
The Central Supply Technician is responsible for counting, filling all PAR areas, and filling any department requisitions. This non-clinical position requires skills and experience in inventory management. The Central Supply Technician must support the mission of providing Sacred Work to all who enter the doors of Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas.

Essential Job Duties

- Pulls pars, stocks par areas, rotates supplies, validates expires dates, and update inventory in computer system while restocking par areas. Following proper procedures in delivery of products (covering bins with plastic, keeping all cardboard out of the facility).Dusting and wiping out bins in Par areas within the facility.
- Stocking incoming freight in General store area and Afterhours location. Replenish various carts that are returned to the Central area after patient use.
- Assists in unloading trucks as needed and provides assistance to others when requested.
- Entry daily issues in computer systems.
- Pick up dirty equipment from dirty utility room. Cleans and bags patient equipment and equipment cart covers on carts.
- Under guidance of the Central Supply Manager, adjusts priorities to accommodate needs of other departments.
