Summary/Objective
The Painter maintains and protects the interior and exterior of all painted surfaces and equipment within the hospital and its surround properties.
Essential Job Duties
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Repairs surfaces and equipment requiring painting as well as maintaining walls with wallpaper and paint trim using a variety of equipment and tools.
- Performs remodels and minor construction as needed.
- Repairs or replaces flooring and cove bases as needed.
- Maintains all equipment and supplies required according to hospital standards and replaces items as needed.
- Participates in all department safety training.
Communicates with patient care in scheduling paint and repair jobs to assure timely, safe, completion.
Required Education and Experience
1-3 years of related experience.
