- Provides an appropriate clinic environment for patient care by maintaining the patient area in an orderly manner and maintaining neatness of the work environment.
- Calls patients in a timely manner to assist with questions or concerns related to their care, prescription refills, medications. Makes follow-up appointments when appropriate.
- Resolves clinical patient concerns or escalates to management as needed.
- Interacts with physician practices, pharmacies, drug reps, third party payers and other departments.
- Maintains required documentation of patient care and clinic activities in accordance with clinic standards.
- Maintains awareness of current operational policies and procedures which impact on position responsibilities. Ensures nursing skills are performed effectively according to established standards of care.Required Education and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited nursing program1 year previous experience in a physician office settingRequired License / CertificationsCurrent LVN License in the State of Texas
