Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients requiring high acuity nursing skills.
About the Role: The successful candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to prioritize and coordinate patient care. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices
- Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of cardiac and telemetry experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certifications preferred
