Summary
Responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed in all areas of the laboratory. Ensures laboratory practices focus on and guarantee patient safety. Responsible for specimen collection and laboratory testing performed on all patients from neonates to geriatric patients. Responsible for Baptist Health System Laboratory technical development, implementation and integration within areas of technical expertise, to include instrument acquisition, logistic support and laboratory information systems integration. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
