Financial Analyst II

Overview

Job Summary

Prepares and maintains accurate accounting records using established policies and procedures in order to properly reflect operating results and financial position. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Creates and performs analysis on financial and operational data.
• Demonstrates an ability to evaluate and maintain the proper level of data integrity within the data warehouses of all available financial information systems.
• Demonstrates computer proficiency with all System financial information systems including core transaction systems, decision support system, data warehouse and PC Financial Application tools to complete internal and external work products.
• Completes assigned goals.

Experience

Minimum Required

• Recent hospital experience in decision support, budget or accounting.
• Strong computer skill set with Oracle, Microsoft Office programs, particularly with Excel and Access, and experience using reports from health care financial management or clinical systems and database management systems.
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills.
  
  

Preferred/Desired - 3 Years Experience In Healthcare.

Education and Licensure

Minimum Required - Bachelor's Degree In Finance Or Accounting.

Preferred/Desired - Master's Degree, CPA

Functional Demands - Lift 10lbs. box overhead. Lift and carry 15lbs. Push/pull 20lbs. cart
