Summary
The NSA Analyst is responsible for identifying, tracking and analyzing claims related to the No Surprises Act (NSA). The analyst will be the NSA Subject-Matter-Expert and responsible for ensuring all deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner.
Job Responsibilities :
Serves as a No Surprises Act (NSA) Subject Matter Expert
- Meets all deadlines associated with the NSA process
- Responsible for coordinating with the Director and Accounts Payable (AP) to submit the required IDR fees to the respective IDR Entity in a timely and accurate manner
- Responsible for updating the Epic correspondence record or the NSA Tracker as information is received in the NSA email box
- Responsible for updating Epic using the appropriate NSA adjustment code(s) as IDR Decisions are received
- Serves as a point of contact for the IDR Entities and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) related to the NSA cases
- Responsible for preparing regular NSA reports for BMHCC Revenue Cycle Leadership
- Demonstrates the ability to evaluate and maintain the proper level of data integrity within the NSA records and applicable documents
- Demonstrates proficiency with all System financial information systems and all software used to analyze the information
- Performs other duties as assigned.

One (1) year of previous revenue cycle experience in a healthcare or insurance setting.
