We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician to support the operation of our Laboratory by assisting with pre-analytical and post-analytical processes. This role is responsible for assigned shifts, including overtime and call backs as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collections
- Assess and maintain quality of specimens
- Communicate effectively with patients and customers
- Assess specimens
- Support lifelong learning
- Complete assigned goals
Requirements:
- Minimum education: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral, and verbal formats to achieve high productivity and efficiency
- Ability to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties
- Preferred experience: Hospital phlebotomy experience
- Preferred skills: Basic computer literacy and training acquired in an approved phlebotomy training program
