We are seeking a Patient Registration Specialist to join our team at Baptist Memorial. As a Patient Registration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality care by accurately registering them into our system.
Your primary responsibilities will include obtaining demographic, financial, and clinical information from patients, applying financial guidelines to determine or collect patient liability, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education
We prefer candidates with an Associate's degree or 2 years of college-level courses, but minimum requirement is skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English.
Candidates must also possess basic computer skills, ability to perform basic math computation, and type at least 25 words per minute.
Experience
We prefer candidates with 1 year of business experience in a healthcare environment, but minimum requirement is 1 year of business experience.
A certification like CHAA is also preferred.
