Summary
Delivers Linen to user departments. Processes requests for Linen. Performs receiving / storeroom functions, linen distribution functions and soild linen collection as directed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Delivers Linen to User Departments.
- Maintains inventory control for assigned areas to ensure customer's Linen needs are met.
- Processes requests for Linen.
- Performs data entry relating to the Linen process.
- Performs receiving / storeroom functions.
- Performs related accountabilities / responsibilities as required or directed.
- Completes assigned goals.
Requirements, Preferences and Experience
Education
Minimum : Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
Experience
Preferred : 6 months working with Linen in a Health Care setting. Previous experience in Linen distribution, including the ability to calculate usage and demand along with basic procurement procedures.
Special Skills
Minimum : Basic computer skills.
Training
Preferred : 1 year.
