What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthcare/ASC Business Manager position at Baptist-Physicians' Surgery Center?
The Healthcare/ASC Business Manager will support the Administrator in all aspects of fiscal leadership of the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Functions include management and coordination of all business service functions in the areas of billing, coding, accounts receivable and payable, insurance authorization, daily operations, and medical record completion. Other oversight includes optimization of surgical scheduling, maximization of supply chain, materials management inventory, AAAHC and regulatory agency requirements, equipment, and capital expenditures. Responsible for Human Resources to include, payroll and reporting, monitoring of full-time equivalents including productivity management and provider credentialing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent education from an accredited college or university is required.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a healthcare business environment is required.
At least two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per year
