What You’ll Do:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support residents with housekeeping, laundry, and dining needs to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents’ physical, cognitive, or emotional status.
- Escort residents to dining areas, activities, and appointments while fostering a sense of independence.
- Contribute to creating a safe and supportive community by maintaining professional communication and collaboration with team members.
- Provide comfort and companionship to residents, enhancing their quality of life through kindness and respect.
Qualifications You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED with an understanding of the aging process and dementia-related diseases.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow policies, procedures, and safety rules.
- Strong communication skills to write routine reports and correspondence effectively.
- Capacity to complete the Department of Human Services (DHS) required online caregiver training.
- A positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions with care and efficiency.
