Job Description – Customer Service Representative of Bogard Press
Title: Customer Service Representative
Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative serves churches and customers by processing orders and payments with the goal of ensuring accuracy on every order and timely transactions. The Customer Service Representative is under the supervision of the Sales Order Coordinator and reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. The CS Representative will carry out our ministry statement:
a. We serve churches by providing literature for all ages to churches to help them fulfill the Great Commission.
b. We provide a good Christian place to work so employees can provide for their families while serving God.
2. The CS Representative will process orders collecting all required data during the process.
3. The CS Representative will communicate with customers in a kind and friendly manner and problem solve issues customers may have.
4. The CS Representative will maintain a high-level knowledge of Bogard Press literature, and other items we sell.
5. The CS Representative will process customer payments and maintain a complete working knowledge of the payment process.
6. The CS Representative will monitor customer accounts to ensure accuracy and timely payments, communicating with customers in a kind and friendly manner to resolve issues or past due accounts.
7. The CS Representative will maintain complete working knowledge of policies and procedures and will make suggestions for improvements to better serve our churches and customers.
8. The CS Representative will work with software programs such as Sage, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Laserfiche, Avalara CertCapture and any others needed.
9. The CS Representative will assist customers with any questions regarding the website or the products offered there.
10. The CS Representative will research and resolve discrepancies relating to customer accounts.
11. The CS Representative will perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Must be willing to sign a Statement of Faith
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong computer skills
· Office 365 knowledge with word, outlook and excel experience.
· Demonstrate resiliency and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Willingness to comply with company, local, state, and federal financial regulations & policies.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
