Duties:
- Assist with the care and support of individuals in a healthcare or social work setting
- Drive individuals to appointments, activities, or errands
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Provide first aid and basic medical assistance as needed
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if required
- Help individuals navigate healthcare systems and access necessary resources
- Provide childcare and supervision for children if required
- Lift and transfer individuals with mobility limitations
- Administer medications according to prescribed guidelines
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate and empathetic towards individuals in need of care
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures
- Familiarity with childcare practices and safety guidelines
