Nurse Practitioner for Med Surg Care

Baptist Works, a clinician-focused travel recruitment firm, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a challenging opportunity in Montgomery, Alabama.

About the Role:

• This 13-week travel nursing job requires a professional with experience in Med Surg care to work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• A current AL nursing license and 1 year of experience in the field are required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress, observations, and interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field (preferably).
• Successful passage of RN examination and current AL nursing license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med Surg care.
• Ability to obtain specialty certifications as applicable (PALS, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS).
