Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, particularly in nightlife and fine dining environments. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests by serving high-quality drinks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their drink choices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process orders and manage payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other bartenders to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; assist in ordering stock as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Stay informed about new drink trends, brewing techniques, and menu offerings to enhance guest experiences.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred, especially in nightclub or fine dining settings.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and brewing processes is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
