Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a deep appreciation for fine dining and wine. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, a kind attitude, and exceptional guest service are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional guest experience by offering thoughtful recommendations and personalized service.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of French cuisine and an extensive wine list, including pairing suggestions.
- Educate guests on our wine offerings, including our unique and diverse selection of French and international wines.
- Accurately take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure all guest requests are met with precision.
- Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Be attentive to details, anticipating guest needs and providing thoughtful touches that elevate the dining experience.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Maintain a professional demeanor, with a genuine, kind, and approachable attitude.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a fine-dining or high-end restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of French cuisine and wines, with the ability to speak confidently about wine pairings and selections.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests and make them feel welcome.
- A passion for delivering a memorable guest experience and a natural ability to connect with people.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Wine certifications (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, etc.) are a plus but not required.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
