Your expertise in food safety and hospitality will ensure that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare innovative menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and presentation meet established standards.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper food storage practices to minimize waste.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen space.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor food trends and incorporate new techniques to enhance the dining experience.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food service management, and kitchen management practices.
- Knowledge of or trained in classic French cuisine is a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Experience in restaurant management is considered an asset.
- A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.
