Barback

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced nightlife environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and efficiency behind the bar.

Duties

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Stock the bar with necessary supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice.
• Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
• Handle cash register operations accurately during busy shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable.
• Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Skills

• Previous experience in a nightclub or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience using a cash register is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A clean and organized approach to work, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained at all times.
• Willingness to help others and work as part of a team to create an enjoyable atmosphere for guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 8 per week
