Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover.
- Communicate wait times to guests and provide updates as necessary.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Assist in guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Utilize the POS system, including Aloha POS, for managing reservations and seating arrangements.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with guest services and handling inquiries professionally.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help team members whenever needed.
