Summary of Responsibilities :
Our Groundskeeper is an essential team member that maintains the overall curb appeal of our apartment community to make our residents home a beautiful place to live and provides support to the service team members.
Organizational Relationships :
Reports directly to the Property Manager. This is a non-exempt (hourly) position.
What you can expect to do in this role :
- Work independently as you pick up trash on the property and in common areas, which includes but is not limited to parking lots, curbs, trash receptacle areas, breezeways, and any other public areas to maintain a well-kept and manicured curb appeal.
- Use pressure washer and blower to clean breezeways, steps, sidewalks, pool area, and other common areas.
- Maintain clean doors and light globes. Clean light fixtures throughout property and replace exterior light bulbs as directed and needed. Report light issues to Service Manager.
- Complete assigned minor and routine service requests as requested by the Service Manager and / or Property Manager and assist the make-ready technician in the turn process.
- Update the Service Manager with status of work and communicate any potential liabilities.
- Ensure adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Notify supervisor when supplies are needed.
- Assist office staff, as needed, with distributing notices to residents.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Attend regularly scheduled safety meetings.
- Participate in resident and company functions as required by Property Manager and / or the Company.
- Comply with all Bar Invest Group policies and procedures, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Wear career apparel based on defined company standards.
- Other tasks or duties as assigned by supervisor.
