Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the front of house to the kitchen and
that all staff adhere to health and safety standards.
• Ensure orders are being completed on time and being prepared with the correct
priority.
• Inspecting the cleanliness, presentation, and temperature of completed dishes.
• Performing the finishing touches to completed dishes, such as adding garnishes.
• Deliver orders to maintain fast service.
• Eliminate obstacles in service, including but not limited to food preparation lines
or dishwashing.
• Informing the waitstaff when certain dishes or ingredients have run out and
emphasizing specific food requests from the front of house team to the kitchen.
• Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in
cleaning.
• Transfer important information between the management team, kitchen, and
front of house staff.
• Execute other support tasks as needed.
