Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Schedule: Evening shifts, beginning at 5 PM, including weekends and late-night service

POSITION SUMMARYThe Line Cook will work closely with the kitchen team to prepare and execute a curated menu of small plates. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform under pressure. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food quality.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepare and execute a variety of small plates following established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain consistency and precision in cooking techniques, ensuring quality in every dish
- Set up and stock workstations efficiently before, during, and after service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Assist in inventory management, proper storage, and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth and timely service
- Adapt to menu changes, seasonal ingredients, and volume shifts as needed
- Maintain a professional attitude, taking direction from chefs and contributing to a positive kitchen culture
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a line cook in a professional kitchen, preferably in a high-volume or upscale environment
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques, including meat and vegetable cookery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation protocols
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late nights as required
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Frequent bending, lifting, carrying, and moving throughout the kitchen space
- Pay Rate: $21 - $23 per hour (based on experience)
