POSITION SUMMARY:
The Dishwasher is committed to ensuring high-quality customer service and the capacity to handle the pressure of restaurant work. You should be knowledgeable, attentive, and focused on providing the best possible service in a fast-paced environment. You should be efficient, reliable, and perceptive with excellent communication and time management skills.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed. Keeps the dish area free of clutter and organized.
- Properly washes, stacks, and stores dishware, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
- Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
- Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
- Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries.
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- May perform other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES:
- Must have a great attitude.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
- Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods and working nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous restaurant or related experience is a plus.
- Must be available weekday nights and open availability on weekends
