Maintain the aircraft components in a safe and efficient manner with emphasis on compliance with the FAA.
Ensure maintenance is performed in accordance with the Repair Station Manual, FAA regulations and Manufacturer’s Maintenance Manuals. Read, understand and interpret maintenance manuals, technical websites, and written/verbal instructions. Report any major malfunctions or damage to appropriate individuals in the most expeditious manner. Submit all appropriate paperwork in a neat and timely manner. Actively promote a positive company image by providing the customer with courteous, efficient, and safe service. Become thoroughly acquainted with and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures. Perform housekeeping duties required to keep the hangar area to keep it neat, clean, and presentable. Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Duties
- Ensure maintenance is performed in accordance with the Repair Station Manual, FAA regulations and Manufacturer’s Maintenance Manuals.
- Disassembly, cleaning, inspection and reassembly of helicopter components utilizing hand tools, shop equipment and special tools in accordance with manufacturer’s technical data and FAA regulations.
- Provide Customer service in the performance of maintenance, repair and overhaul of helicopter powertrain components with the highest standards for flight safety, quality of work and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluation and performance of necessary task.
- Ability to utilize technical data and follow verbal instructions.
- Attention to detail during the performance of the job.
- Ability to interact with customers.
- Pride in workmanship
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Airframe license is preferred, not required.
- MUST HAVE Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Aviation overhaul of HELICOPTER components.
- Must have general knowledge in the use of hand tools and shop equipment
- Must have good communication skills
- Willingness to learn new job skills
- Ability to work with other technicians in performance of assigned tasks
- Must have a basic understanding of the critical nature of the work being performed.
- Must be able to pass a DOT FAA regulated drug and alcohol test.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Working Conditions:
- Required to work frequently near moving mechanical parts.
- Required to work in outside weather conditions.
- Exposed to loud noise levels.
- May be required to work after hours and on weekends as needed.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Able to use arms, hands and legs to accomplish tasks.
- Able to sit, stand and squat for extended periods of time.
- Able to climb with balance on and off aircraft.

- Problem-solving and critical thinking.
Wage- depends on license and experience.
