Job Summary: Job responsibilities include management and administrative operations, developing internal procedures to maximize team work and efficiencies in the CTO. Provides diversified administrative and secretarial support, exercising independent judgment to maximize office efficiency and accuracy of schedules, meetings, calendars, and communications. Supervises the day-to-day activities of administrative staff and volunteers.
Responsibilities:
- Researches, gathers, analyzes and disseminates information to assist management in informational and statistical reporting.
- May oversee and coordinate budgeting and accounting activities, which include revenue and expenditures of general and grant funds.
- Process Payroll for hourly employees and approves time within Pipeline. Also, processes request for payment for contract employees.
- Participates in the planning and implementation of required changes in office.
- Identifies departmental issues, documents the issues and then implements policies and procedures as related to CTO office management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and two plus years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of related education and/or experience. Administrative experience in a clinical trials office, research or healthcare setting is preferable.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, setting priorities in fast-paced environment.
- Previous supervisory experience desired.
- Uses experience and professional judgment to plan and accomplish goals, while exercising independent judgment and discretion.
- Strong computer skills (Windows environment, Microsoft products, and Outlook program).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
