Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist for a small specialist medical office.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
- Process payments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage health information in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare staff.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls as needed.
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes when required.
- Support office management tasks to ensure a well-organized front desk area.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role within a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
- Experience in front desk operations, including patient service and office management, is highly valued
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
